How To Bid - Schwenke Auctioneers
Prospective bidders may register to bid directly with us at Schwenke Auctioneers by completing the applicable
Registration Form in this "Buying" section of our website. Absentee bidding and telephone bidding is also available subject to certain additional requirements and restrictions.
Those forms are also found in this "Buying" section. In
some cases, additional credit references will be
required.
Internet online bidding is also available on multiple platforms. Each has unique features and functionality, but essentially each platform’s architecture facilitates the same result, which is to enable interested prospective bidders to (1) register for the auction, (2) be approved to bid, and (3) bid and buy in the auction by placing absentee bids prior to the auction and/or bidding live during the auction which is held live in our auction gallery. Prospective bidders are cautioned that these internet platforms are an "interface" between the bidder and our auction. There is no time advantage to bidding on the internet platforms, there are risks due to electronic transmission of data, and all bidding on such platforms is competitive with each other internet platform, bidders present at the sale, bidders participating via telephone, and bidders who have placed absentee bids directly with us. Please refer to Section 5 of our posted Terms & Conditions for additional information and disclosures regarding bidding on internet platforms.
Bidders may bid absentee and/or live in our auction on the platform of their choice by clicking on the logos below. In addition to the caveats mentioned above, please note that the buyer’s premiums for online bidding are higher than our in-house buyer’s premium, and there are no discounts for early payment or payments in cash.
